K-pop stars are becoming models for luxury brands. In this article, we will tell you how much they earn from luxury brand models. Recently a business editor Kati Chitakorn reveals how much k-pop idols earn and whom they choose.

Here is the list of female k-pop idols.

There are four members in the k-pop girl group Blackpink. And they all represent some kinds of luxury brands. But Lisa has gotten first place on this list.

Lisa became the official global brand ambassador of Celine in Sept. 2020. She has gained 2.7 billion impressions from her 54 Instagram posts with Celine from Jan. 2020 to Jun. 2021.

Each post gathered approximately 50 million impressions and $1.5 million USD. She totally earned $80.9 million.

Jisoo has won second place. She is the official global brand ambassador of Dior in Mar. 2021. She shared 71 Instagram posts with Dior from Jan. 2020 to June. 2021and  has gathered 2.15 billion impressions for the fashion house and has garnered $64.8 million USD in earned media value. Each post collected approximately 30 million impressions and $910,000 USD on average.

Rose is the winner of third and fifth place. She is the global brand ambassador of Yves Saint Laurent since Jun. 2020. From then Rose shared 57 Instagram posts with her brand. She has earned 1.85 billion impressions for YSL and generated $56 million USD in earned media value. Each of her posts earned approximately 32 million impressions and made $980,000 USD.

Rose is a brand global ambassador of Tiffany & Co. since Apr. 2021. And for this brand, she has won fifth place. Rosé has shared 16 Instagram posts for the brand and has collected 578 million impressions.

Rosé has earned the luxury jewelry brand $17.4 million USD in earned media value. Her every post received 36 million impressions and earned $1.1 million USD on average.

Jennie has won fourth place. She has been the global brand ambassador of Chanel since Jan. 2018. She shared  27 Instagram posts for the brand from Jan. 2020 to Jun. 2021. She collected  944 million impressions for the French fashion house and has earned the brand $28.4 million USD in earned media value.

Her every post received 35 million impressions and earned $1.05 million USD on average.

Here is the list of male k-pop idols.

EXO’s Kai has got sixth place and number one among the male idols. He became Gucci’s first-ever Korean global ambassador in 2019.

From Jan. 2020 to Jun. 2021, Kai gathered 349 million impressions for Gucci. He has earned $10.5 million USD in earned media volume.

His average impression on each post was not shown.
