Chae Jong Hyeop will Join Kim So Hyun for New Project “Is it Fate”. On September 27th, the casting agency Leeum Hashtag made the announcement that Kim So Hyun would be playing the lead role in the next drama titled “Is it Fate?” Is it Fate? is a webtoon that was adapted into a film with the same name. It tells the story of a group of young people who happened to meet their first love ten years ago by chance, and now they are on the hunt for real love and their aspirations.
Kim So Hyun portrays the role of Lee Hong Joo, a producer of animated productions who is terrified of love due to the emotional scars she suffered from a previous relationship. This drama will also be directed by Song Hyun Wook, who was the director of “Another Miss Oh,” “Beauty Inside,” and “The King’s Affection.” He will direct this new drama as well.
IOK Company, the agency, made the following statement public on the 6th of October: “Chae Jong Hyeop received an offer to act in ‘Is it Fate?'” Is it Fate? is a romantic comedy-drama that tells the story of young people who unintentionally met their first love 10 years ago and go forth in pursuit of real love and dreams. The plot is based on a Naver webtoon with the same name.
In the drama, Chae Jong Hyeop was offered the part of Kang Hoo Yeong, who was excited to see Hong Joo again and reminisced about the good times they had spent together. Earlier on, Kim So Hyun was chosen to play the role of Lee Hong Joo, the female lead. The question of whether or not Chae Jong Hyeop will confirm his appearance in ‘Is it Fate?’ and collaborate with Kim So Hyun is currently the center of attention. Song Hyeon Wook, the director of ‘The King’s Affection,’ ‘Beauty Inside,’ ‘Another Miss Oh,’ and ‘The Golden Spoon,’ is also in charge of directing the drama ‘Is it Fate?.’ It will be broken up into a total of eight episodes.
