The production team confirmed on August 25 that Song Kang and Kim So Hyun will headline the highly anticipated series, marking another on-screen reunion for the two stars.

Story of White Scandal

White Scandal follows Dan Yi Hyuk, played by Song Kang, a third-generation chaebol heir and one of South Korea’s most successful actors. Despite his privileged background and celebrity status, Yi Hyuk has no desire to inherit his family’s business.

Born as the illegitimate son of a powerful chaebol family, Yi Hyuk has spent much of his life trying to meet the expectations of his grandfather. In public, he maintains the image of a top star, while behind closed doors, he is caught in the middle of a fierce family succession battle.

His life takes an unexpected turn when he enters into a fake relationship with Ji Eun Seol, a former child actress whose promising career was destroyed by a past incident.

Kim So Hyun plays Ji Eun Seol, a once-beloved child star who experiences a dramatic fall from fame. After the incident that damaged her career, Eun Seol begins working as a manager while secretly holding on to her dream of returning to acting.
