Plot:
A fiery and unlikely romance ignites between a disillusioned detective actor desperate to reinvent himself and a once-celebrated political reporter now stuck covering celebrity gossip.
Im Hyeon Jun is a veteran actor known nationwide for his role as Kang Pil Gu in the hit series Good Detective Kang Pil Gu, now heading into its fifth season. While his name has become synonymous with justice and grit, Hyeon Jun feels creatively stifled. Tired of being typecast, he dreams of shedding his detective persona and becoming the next big star in romantic comedies and melodramas. But years of playing the same role have dulled his passion and pushed him into a slump.
Wi Jeong Sin, once a rising star in political journalism, is now an entertainment reporter—not by choice. After earning the prestigious ‘Reporter of the Year’ award, a corruption investigation derailed her career and landed her in the entertainment beat. There, she crosses paths with Hyeon Jun, a celebrity she once secretly admired. Despite her resentment toward her demotion, she decides to take control of her narrative—embracing her role and following Hyeon Jun into a world of glitz, gossip, and unexpected emotional entanglements.
Together, their paths collide in a chaotic yet captivating love story, where ambition, regret, and second chances blur the line between fiction and reality.
