Story
Live in This Moment is a heartfelt Chinese family drama that explores the pressures of modern life, relationships, marriage, friendship, and the never-ending pursuit of a better future.
Chen Yan and Song He are a married couple working and living in the fast-paced city of Beijing. Like many couples striving to create a more comfortable life for their family, they make a major decision to take out a substantial loan to purchase a new home—one that is far beyond what their current income can comfortably afford. For Chen Yan, however, the risk seems worthwhile. She strongly believes that life can never be completely settled and that people must continue working hard and striving for something better.
As Chen Yan pursues the dream of a new and improved life, she also watches her close female friends face their own personal struggles. Some are going through unexpected changes in their marriages, while others must make difficult choices about their futures. Meanwhile, career crises and the pressure to maintain seemingly successful lives begin to expose the hidden troubles behind their glamorous appearances.
The situation becomes even more complicated when Chen Yan and Song He’s dream home may not be delivered on schedule. The uncertainty surrounding the new house brings financial pressure and emotional stress into their marriage. As their problems grow, the once-happy couple begins to experience a serious relationship crisis, casting a shadow over the future they had imagined together.
Through these difficult experiences, Chen Yan is forced to rethink what she has been chasing all along.
