Hu Tong Drama Summary Plot

 

The drama will tell the story of a family of three generations of women who work hard to serve their neighborhood from the early days of liberation to the present day. They try to show the Hutong culture of Beijing which attracts young people.

Tian Zao has been working for people since the early days of liberation. Then she became the leader of the resident’s committee. She has served people for 70 years. She takes part in catching spies, curbing illiteracy, and led the masses to donate handicrafts to the volunteer army.

During this period she also involved her daughter Elvira Cai to take part in this work. Tian Zao did not leave her post even after retirement and worked for people. When she was 90 years old her granddaughter Lin Yue became the new leader of the resident’s committee.
