Story

The Witch of Siam follows Irene, a witch who is forced to flee from witch-hunters and eventually finds refuge in Ayutthaya. She unexpectedly becomes fascinated by the city’s delicious local cuisine and decides to make a life there.

Her peaceful new life changes when she encounters Mek, a severely wounded man who is known as the notorious Bandit of Ayutthaya. Irene treats his injuries, but saving him pulls her into his dangerous world. Circumstances eventually force the witch and the bandit to join forces and fight alongside each other.

As they face battles, danger, bloodshed, and betrayal together, Irene and Mek develop a powerful connection. Their bond becomes intertwined with magic and destiny, stretching beyond their first lifetime. Irene’s reliance on magic ultimately leads to tragedy, but the connection between their souls refuses to disappear.

Five hundred years later, Irene has lost her magical powers and is now a witch without magic. Yet she continues to wait for the day she can meet him again. As people and connections from the past begin returning, Irene’s long-awaited reunion may finally happen, forcing both characters to confront the love, hatred, sacrifice, and unfinished destiny that followed them across lifetimes.
