But now that we’ve finished the first ten episodes of the Netflix season, the issue is, where do things go from here for Ingrid, her colleagues, and her love interests?

Partner Track Season 2 Release Date

Regrettably, there is presently no word on a prospective season two of Partner Track – but we remain hopeful.

Bradley Gibson wants a second season as well. Quite a bit.

“I hope the program continues,” stated the actor (via ScreenRant). “Please, please, please give us a second season. We want it, and so do the people. If it is not the condition of racism in the workplace, I believe there are many other challenges that occur in the workplace that we will likely address, and I hope we will. That, I believe, is the beauty of Partner Track: you get this amazing concert with fantastic, gorgeous people.

“We get romance, but we also get instructional moments and moments that open your eyes and talk about things that we’re dealing with as a society. Whether it’s racism, sexism, or homophobia, the list goes on and on and on.

“So I hope we continue to discuss racism, but I also hope we continue to discuss other issues that are so vital to addressing.”

Starting on August 26, the streaming service typically provides a 28-day window to analyze performance and audience before deciding whether to proceed.

That date has now passed, and we continue to wait.

Partner Track did make it into the top 10 on Netflix in the UK, as well as continental Europe, Canada, and the United States, which is undoubtedly a good sign of things to come – let’s hope the streamer’s bean counters agree.

It’s too early to say who will return or not, but if it does, former Teen Wolf star Arden Cho will reprise her role as Ingrid Yun.

Then there’s Dominic Sherwood, who portrays Jeff Murphy. He appears to be a foregone conclusion.

Alexandra Turshen and Bradley Gibson, who play Ingrid’s coworkers Rachel and Tyler, as well as Nolan Gerard Funk, who plays competing lawyer Dan Fallon, is expected to return to the workplace.

Partner Track Season 2 Plot

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any more convoluted, Ingrid discovered her mission to find a partner at Parsons Valentine & Hunt had been thwarted… by Jeff Murphy.

The ruthless rivalry appears to have come for her in a big terrible way, and while she has worked hard to ascend up the ranks in the face of xenophobia, sexism, and plain old bloodlust among her rival lawyers, it appears that the sharks are still in the water.

None more so, she believes, than Jeff, with whom she has had an on/off relationship and with whom she cheated on her boyfriend Nick during the first season’s run.

Yet, when the opportunity to get an advantage over his competitors emerged, he seized it, telling the partners that she had previously been detained, destroying their trust in her and their desire to make her a partner.

When it was originally publicized, she approached Marty, figuring it was because of her position as a Korean lady… but he then revealed Jeff’s betrayal.

This couple’s story will undoubtedly become one of the rivals in the future.
