A group of three people is formed. One of them is mind-reading expert Qin Huole, the brave and steadfast captain Song He and forensic doctor Fan Xiaofan. They work together to find the truth behind eight strange and different stories.

There are many people who become monsters when they cannot get justice, look at the abyss for too long and the abyss looks back, there are some people who die so they can get justice. Many people get punished without learning the reason, they do wrong deeds and hurt other people.

Some people do good deeds during day time but become monsters at the night and take advantage of innocent people to fulfill their obsession. These eight stories will depict the difference between evil and good.
