Story

Huo Ling Long, the eldest daughter of Linglong Manor, escapes from home to flee an unwanted arranged marriage. During her journey, she encounters a mysterious black man renowned for his exceptional martial arts skills. Despite being severely injured and pursued by various Jianghu factions of both good and evil, he continuously aids Huo Ling Long in evading danger.

Curious and intrigued, Huo Ling Long soon discovers that this man is Zhan Zhao, the “Southern Hero.” He has become a target for others after obtaining incriminating evidence against Xiangyang Wang. Although Zhan Zhao manages to defeat his attackers, he is left poisoned. With no options left, he entrusts Huo Ling Long with the critical evidence and sacrifices himself to ensure her escape during an enemy ambush. When faced with threats against innocent lives, Zhan Zhao is ultimately imprisoned.

Now on the run with the evidence in her possession, Huo Ling Long is pursued by Shao Ji Zu, one of Xiangyang Wang’s subordinates and her fiancée. Eventually, Shao Ji Zu catches up and tries to take the evidence from her. However, with the help of an enigmatic young hero in white, she manages to defeat him. This young man is the legendary “Brocade-Coated Rat,” Bai Yu Tang. Together, they set out to rescue Zhan Zhao before continuing their mission.

As they delve deeper into the investigation, they uphold justice and apprehend criminals, dismantling Xiangyang Wang’s intricate power network. Along the way, they uncover a tangled web of conspiracies, exposing long-hidden secrets and lies. Gradually, peace and stability return to the people, thanks to their relentless efforts.
