Kim Ji Won will join Kim Soo Hyun in his new K-drama. It was announced on the 22nd of November by a number of different media sites that Kim Ji Won had been offered the role of the major protagonist in the forthcoming drama “Queen of Tears.” The offer was initially sent to the actor Kim Soo Hyun, and his agency has confirmed that he is in the process of evaluating it.
The casting rumours were promptly reacted to by the agency that represents Kim Ji Won, High Zium Studio. According to the actress’s representation, Kim Ji Won has been made aware of the casting offer to feature in “Queen of Tears,” and she is giving serious thought to accepting the role.
Writer Park Ji Eun (“Crash Landing on You,” “The Legend of the Blue Sea,” “Swing Kids,” and “My Love from the Star”) and filmmaker Kim Hee Won will collaborate on their next project, which will be titled “Queen of Tears.”
There have been rumours circulating that Kim Ji Won and Kim Soo Hyun will play a married pair in the upcoming drama “Queen of Tears.”
A great number of people are already looking forward to the future series because of the possibility of a collaboration between Kim Ji Won and Kim Soo Hyun. The writer of “My Love From the Star” and “The Producers” reuniting with Kim Soo Hyun is another reason.

If Kim Ji Won decides to take up the offer, then this will be the first Korean drama that she appears in until the year 2023.
