Biography

Britney Jean Spears is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer who was born on December 2, 1981. She is recognized for influencing the resurrection of adolescent pop in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and is known as the “Princess of Pop.” Spears, who is regarded as a pop legend, has sold about 150 million records worldwide, including more than 70 million in the United States alone, making her one of the best-selling music artists in the world.

Spears signed with Jive Records in 1997 at the age of 15 after participating in theater shows and television series. …Baby One More Time (1999) and Oops!… I Did It Again (2000), Spears’ first two studio albums, are among the best-selling albums of all time, making her the best-selling teenage artist of all time. Oops!… I Did It Again held the record for the fastest-selling album by a female artist in the United States for 15 years, with first-week sales of nearly 1.3 million copies.

For her albums Britney (2001) and In the Zone (2003), Spears embraced a more mature and daring style, and she starred in the 2002 film Crossroads.

Spears oversaw the production of her fifth studio album, Blackout (2007), which is widely regarded as her best work.

Due to a series of widely publicized personal issues, the album’s promotion was curtailed, and Spears was placed in an involuntary conservatorship. Since then, she has recorded two chart-topping albums, Circus (2008) and Femme Fatale (2011), with the latter becoming her most successful era of singles in the US charts. Britney: Piece of Me, a four-year residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, was launched to promote her next two albums, Britney Jean (2013) and Glory (2014)(2016). Spears’ court battle over her conservatorship became increasingly well-known in 2019, resulting in the #FreeBritney movement.

Following her public testimony in which she accused her management team and relatives of abuse, the conservatorship was terminated in 2021.

Spears has six Billboard 200 number-one albums and four Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles: “…Baby One More Time,” “Womanizer,” “3,” and “Hold It Against Me.” The “S&M” remix also topped the Billboard chart as a featured artist. In most countries, her single “Oops!… I Did It Again,” “Toxic,” and “Scream & Shout” topped the charts. Spears is the second artist after Mariah Carey in the history of the Hot 100 to debut at number one with two or more songs with “3” in 2009 and “Hold It Against Me” in 2011.

Spears was recognized as the eighth-biggest artist of the 2000s by Billboard.

She is the fourth best-selling female album artist in the Nielsen SoundScan era in the United States.

In addition to being the best-selling female album artist of the 2000s.

In 2020, Rolling Stone selected “…Baby One More Time” the greatest debut single of all time. Spears collaborated with Elizabeth Arden, Inc. to produce a perfume line in 2004, with sales exceeding $1.5 billion as of 2012. Between 2002 and 2012, Forbes ranked Spears as the highest-paid female musician.

In the 12 years leading up to 2012, she has led Yahoolist !’s of most searched celebs seven times. Spears was named one of the 100 most influential persons in the world by Time in 2021, topping the reader poll with the most votes.

Life and career

Her parents, James “Jamie” Parnell Spears and Lynne Irene Bridges welcomed Britney Jean Spears into the world on December 2, 1981, in McComb, Mississippi.

British-born Lillian Portell, Spears’s maternal grandmother, was born in London, while one of Spears’s maternal great-great-grandfathers was from Malta. Bryan James Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears are her half-siblings. She was raised as a Southern Baptist and sung in a church choir as a child because she was born in the Bible Belt, a region known for its socially strict evangelical Protestantism.

She has studied Kabbalistic teachings as an adult. Spears declared her religious change on August 5, 2021, when she stated she was converting to Catholicism. Catholicism is a faith shared by her family members, including her mother, sister, and two nieces.

She began taking dancing classes at the age of three in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, and was chosen to participate as a solo artist at the yearly performance. During the age of five, she sang “What Child Is This?” at her kindergarten graduation, making her local stage debut. She also took singing and gymnastics training as a child, and she excelled both at the state and local levels.

Spears trained with Béla Károlyi in his gymnastics camp. When asked about her childhood ambitions, she responded, “I was in my own universe,… I figured out what I’m intending to do at a young age.”.

To audition for the 1990s reincarnation of The Mickey Mouse Club in Atlanta, Georgia, Spears and her mother Lynne had to go there. Nancy Carson, a New York City talent agency, was introduced to her by casting director Matt Casella, who rejected her because she was too young. As a result, Carson recommended that Lynne and her two girls join the Professional Performing Arts School; they moved to a sublet apartment in New York soon after. citations needed.

Spears was cast as Tina Denmark’s understudy in the off-Broadway musical Ruthless! for her first professional job. She was also a participant in the popular television show Star Search and appeared in a number of advertisements.

When she appeared in The Mickey Mouse Club in December 1992, she was joined by the likes of Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake, as well as Ryan Gosling and Keri Russell. It was decided that she would return to Mississippi and enroll in McComb’s Parklane Academy once the show was canceled in the year 1994.

However, despite the fact that she made friends with the majority of her classmates, she compared her school to “Clueless’s opening scene, with its slew of social cliques, was particularly tedious for me. On the basketball team, I served as the squad’s point guard. My boyfriend and I went to both homecoming and Christmas formal with him. But I was still looking for more.”

Spears was in talks with manager Lou Pearlman in June 1997 to join Innosense, a female pop group. To get Larry Rudolph’s thoughts on Britney Spears’ performance of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” karaoke song, Lynne enlisted the help of a family friend and industry lawyer, Larry Rudolph.

A professional demo was required for Rudolph’s plan to pitch her to record labels. He sent her an unreleased Toni Braxton song, and she rehearsed and recorded her voice for a week. In New York, Spears took the demo to four record labels and returned to Kentwood the same day. “There wasn’t going to be another Madonna, another Debbie Gibson, or another Tiffany,” three of the labels said, citing the popularity of pop bands like the Backstreet Boys and the Spice Girls.

Rudolph received a phone call from Jive Records officials two weeks later.

According to Jeff Fenster, senior vice president of A&R, “A performer of that age who can provide both emotional impact and mass appeal is a rare find. The artist’s ‘eye of the tiger’ inspiration is critical. That was Britney’s as well.” For the executives, Spears sang Whitney Houston’s 1992 hit “I Have Nothing,” and she was immediately signed to the label.

Producer Eric Foster White was entrusted with shaping her voice from “lower and less poppy” to “distinctively, undeniably Britney” over the course of a month.

Calder ordered a full album after hearing the recordings. “Sheryl Crow music, but younger; more adult contemporary” was the original intention for Spears. “It made more sense to go pop because I can dance to it—more it’s me,” she said of her label’s selection of producers. Max Martin, Denniz Pop and Rami Yacoub were among the producers who worked with her in Cheiron Studios in Stockholm from March to April 1998.

Spears and Christina Aguilera performed “Like a Virgin” as the opening number at the MTV Video Music Awards in August 2003. They were joined by Madonna about halfway through, and they both kissed her. Publicity around the incident was extensive. In 2008, MTV ranked it as one of the best opening moments in the history of the MTV Video Music Awards, and Blender magazine ranked it as one of the twenty-five sexiest music moments in television history.

In the Zone, Britney Spears’ fourth studio album, was released in November of the same year. By authoring and co-producing the bulk of the project, she took on a greater degree of creative responsibility. Spears’s improvement as a songwriter can be seen in Vibe’s description of the album: “A wonderfully confident dance record.”

Her body of work “is written on the decade’s history of impeccably made pop” according to NPR, which named the album one of “The 50 Most Important Recordings of the Decade.”

Spears became the first female artist in the SoundScan era to have her first four studio albums launch at number one with In the Zone, which sold more than 609,000 copies in its first week of availability in the United States.

It debuted at the top of the charts in France as well as in the top 10 in Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands, where it remains today. Toxic, a collaboration with Madonna; every time; and Outrageous were the four songs from the album that awarded Spears her first Grammy for Best Dance Recording.

An A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada, is where Britney Spears married her high school sweetheart Jason Allen Alexander back in January 2004. “Spears lacked awareness of her acts” was said in an application for an annulment filed with the court 55 hours later.

During the Onyx Hotel Tour in March of 2004, she toured in support of her debut album, In the Zone.

During the filming of the music video for “Outrageous,” Spears slipped and hurt her left knee. Spears were operated on by arthroscopic means. Since she had to wear a thigh brace for six weeks and go through eight to twelve weeks of rehabilitation, her Onyx Hotel Tour had to be postponed. As a result of her connection with Madonna, Spears became a member of the Kabbalah Center in 2004.

Spears proposed to dancer Kevin Federline in July of 2004 after only meeting him three months prior. Because Federline had just ended his relationship with actress Shar Jackson, who was carrying their second child, the romance was widely publicized.

Spears’s first reality show, Britney and Kevin: Chaotic, which aired on UPN on May 17, 2005, documented the early days of their relationship. Later, in a 2013 interview, Spears described the show as “possibly the worst thing I’ve done in my career. A three-week delay in concluding the couple’s prenuptial agreement prevented them from becoming legally married until October 6, 2004.

Shortly after, she collaborated with Elizabeth Arden to develop her debut perfume called Curious, which shattered the company’s first-week gross for a fragrance.

Spears took a sabbatical from her work in October 2004 to start a family. She published her first greatest hits collection, Greatest Hits: My Prerogative, back in November 2004. My Prerogative” was released as the album’s first single, and it climbed to the top of the charts in Finland, Ireland, Italy, and Norway.

A top-ten hit in Australia, the United Kingdom, and other countries on the continent, “Do Somethin'” was the second single from the album

Her first kid Sean Preston was born in August 2005; the song “Someday (I Will Understand)” was written in honor of him. As of November of that year, she’d released B in the Mix: The Remixes, a collection of 11 remixes.

There were images of Spears driving Sean about in a car seat in February 2006. Onlookers were outraged when images emerged showing her with one hand on the wheel and clutching Sean’s in the other. It was Spears’ fault, she said because she had a terrifying interaction with paparazzi and it was her own fault.

The following month, she appeared as the secret lesbian Amber-Louise on the Will & Grace episode “Buy, Buy Baby.” In May 2006, she made the announcement that she would no longer be studying Kabbalah, stating that “my baby is my religion.” Vanity Fair compared Britney Spears’ August 2006 cover to Demi Moore’s August 1991 Vanity Fair cover because she posed naked for Harper’s Bazaar. Jayden James was born in September of 2006, her second child.

Spears filed for divorce from Federline in November 2006, alleging an inability to come to terms. Their divorce was finalized in July 2007, when the two reached a global settlement and agreed to share joint custody of their sons.

Her aunt Sandra Bridges Covington, to whom she was extremely close, died in January 2007 of ovarian cancer.

Spears spent less than a day in an Antigua drug rehab clinic in February. She went to a Tarzana, Los Angeles, hair salon the following night and used electric clippers to shave her head.

During the following weeks, she was admitted to further rehab institutions. Her promotional gigs, dubbed The M+M’s Tour, was held at House of Blues venues in May 2007. Spears was granted sole physical custody of her sons by Federline in October 2007.

The reasons for the court’s decision were kept secret from the public. Louis Vuitton also sued Britney Spears over her 2005 music video “Do Somethin’,” which led to the video being banned on European TV stations for upholstering her Hummer interior in counterfeit Louis Vuitton cherry blossom fabric.

Blackout, Spears’ fifth studio album, was released in October of that year. As a result, it debuted at number one in Canada and Ireland, second in the U.S. Billboard 200, and on the top ten lists of several other countries’ charts, including Australia, South Korea, New Zealand, and the U.K. According to Nielsen SoundScan, it was Spears’ first album to not debut at the top of the US albums chart, but she did become the only female artist to have her first five studio albums debut at the top of the list twice.

The album was well-received by critics and ended 2008 with sales of 3.1 million copies worldwide. The 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards named Blackout Album of the Year, while The Times ranked it as the fifth-best pop album of the decade.

At the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, Spears performed the lead song, “Gimme More.”. Critics had a field day with the show.

Although the song was panned, it went on to become a worldwide hit, reaching the top of the charts in nearly every country it appeared in. “Piece of Me” topped the charts in Ireland and was in the top five in Australia, Canada, Denmark, New Zealand, and the UK. The third song, “Break the Ice,” was released in the following year and peaked at number seven and number nine in Ireland and Canada, respectively.  Spears began a connection with Adnan Ghalib, a paparazzo, in December 2007.

Britney Spears Boyfriend

Since meeting on the set of Britney Spears’ “Slumber Party” music video in 2016, Britney Spears and her longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari, have been head over heels in love with one another. Asghari is speaking out about their private relationship at a time when Spears is receiving a flood of support from fans and celebrities alike, and a newfound interest in her conservatorship is being shown in her case.

People magazine quoted Asghari as saying, “I have always wanted nothing but the best for my better half, and I will continue to support her in chasing her aspirations and creating the future she wants and deserves.” “I am grateful for all of the love and support she is receiving from her fans all around the globe, and I am looking forward to a normal, great future with her.” “I am grateful for all of the love and support she is receiving from her followers all over the world,” says the author.

Britney Spears hints she has secretly got married to Sam Asghari

“Such an incredible photo of my husband @samasghari,” Britney Spears wrote on Instagram.

Britney Spears, the American singer, and songwriter has implied that she is secretly marrying her fiancé Sam Asghari, referring to him as’ my husband’.

The Toxic singer rushed to Instagram to wish Sam a very happy birthday and shared a gorgeous snapshot of the two of them, fueling rumors of a secret marriage between the two.

“Such an awesome photo of my hubby @samasghari!!!!” she wrote on Instagram.

His work ethic is exceptional, and his enthusiasm for life surprises me on a daily basis!!! I consider myself really fortunate to be able to live my life with him… BIRTHDAY WISHES FROM BRITNEY,” she continued.

In a recent post, Britney Spears discussed how she and Sam Asghari had become a ‘family’ on the occasion of Sam’s birthday.

“Happy Birthday to my Fiancé…,” she exclaimed. I’m madly in love with you… I’d like to start a family with you… “I want to do everything with you!!!!”

Who Is Sam Asghari, Britney Spears’s Fiancé?

Sam Asghari is a developing actor who used to be a personal trainer in his previous life. This highly polite, handsome, and friendly 27-year-old, on the other hand, is better known to millions of people as the fiancé of a 39-year-old woman who was, for years, the biggest pop star in the world, control over whose personal life and $60 million estates was, 13 years ago, stripped from her and reassigned to her father (along with a court-appointed lawyer to co-manage finances) in a controversial and secretive arrangement from which she has been forced.

The fact that Mr. Asghari’s immensely famous fiancée, Britney Spears, is engaged to marry him is one of the few pieces of information about her private life that is known to the public. Mr. Asghari and Britney Spears have been together since 2005. While both have stated in interviews, they became acquainted while filming the music video for her track “Slumber Party” (with Tinashe), in which he played the role of the contemplative observer as she crawled down a banquet table to lap up what appeared to be spilled milk.

Since then, the couple has shared numerous photos of themselves together on their Instagram profiles, usually while participating in a physical fitness activity, lounging in a beautiful holiday location, mugging for the camera at close range, or a combination of all three of these activities. In September, the pair announced their engagement on Instagram, which has since been deleted (he with a photo; she with a compilation of clips in which she flashed her diamond ring to the camera).

However, details about nearly every other element of Mr. Asghari’s fiancée’s life are only known to a small number of people who have access to private court records pertaining to the conservatorship that has governed her existence since 2008 and was terminated by a judge last week. Because of the terms of this legal arrangement, her relationship with Mr. Asghari was forced to develop within the framework of this legal scheme, the details of which have been kept so secret for more than a decade that outsiders have had no way of knowing how anyone in her inner circle — let alone how she herself — felt about it.

After that, Mr. Asghari spoke up. When he posted an Instagram Story on Feb. 9, 2021, the text stated, “I have zero tolerance for someone trying to control our relationship and continually creating barriers in our way.” The story was deleted within 24 hours, but the text remained. Mr. Asghari’s ostensible objective was his girlfriend’s father, who was the guardian of her estate, and to whom Mr. Asghari mentioned by name in the same communication, while employing an obscenity in the process.

As a result of Mr. Asghari’s defiance of the supposed omertà that prevented discussion of the conservatorship from anyone who was directly impacted by it, onlookers were eager to hear more from him.

Mr. Asghari complied, albeit in a haphazard manner. A home teeth-whitening system, a Panerai Submersible Bronzo Blu Abisso 42mm watch, Smrtft adjustable dumbbells, and a custom-built Jeep Rubicon are among the items he has shared on Instagram. He posted photographs of himself modeling as well as videos of himself working out on his social media accounts. It was he who released snippets and teasers for television shows in which he had appeared in cameo roles as a variety of devastatingly attractive men. He has also continued to post about his support for his fiancée; on Friday, he shared a photo of himself flexing while wearing a T-shirt with the hashtag #FreeBritney, which he captioned with the hashtag.

However, none of his posts satisfied the most pressing questions from onlookers: What is Mr. Asghari’s name? What is his daily routine like? Moreover, how did all of this come about?

Mr. Asghari Career

Friday in October, Mr. Asghari arrived at a predetermined location in downtown Los Angeles for a photoshoot and hour-long interview. He was accompanied by his publicist, Brandon Cohen (reticent; black T-shirt; frequently holding phone to ear), and his creative director, who goes by the name of Maxim, who were both dressed in black (garrulous; pink plaid suit; frequently everywhere).

Mr. Asghari had volunteered to teach his interviewer some of the action stunt work that he has been training hard to learn in anticipation of the interview. This would be a natural transition into a discussion of his professional aspirations (action stardom).

However, on the day in question, this plan came crashing down around us, with each of its constituent components skidding out of grasp in newly undiscovered directions. Example: When Maxi and Mr. Cohen discovered that the interview did not include any video content (in fact, there was never any video content) they expressed their disbelief and skepticism that Mr. Asghari’s stunt demonstrations could be expressed in any format other than one designed for the broadcast of moving visual media (as opposed to still images).

Maxi expressed strong skepticism when it was suggested that the essence of the stunts, as well as specific maneuvers, could be described in writing and then visualized by the reader — “because I have a vivid imagination,” he explained, and “I can’t visualize it” — and as a result, the stunt demonstration was never attempted.

Mr. Cohen and Maxi were also under the impression that the interview would begin at various times; according to one of the timelines, a photographer, who came for the shoot on time, was either 45 or 90 minutes late, depending on which timeline you read. Maxi declared at one point that the hour-long interview will be completed in 15 minutes or less.

Asghari, who immigrated to California from Iran when he was 12 years old to live with his father, who had emigrated seven years earlier, was delightful to talk in conversation. He was adamant about not expressing any displeasure of any type, about anything, or admitting any familiarity with the state in which he found himself.

In response to a question about what aspect of everyday life he initially found the most difficult to adjust to after leaving his mother and sisters in Tehran as an adolescent to travel to a foreign country whose language he did not speak and live with a father he had not seen since he was four years old, Mr. Asghari replied, “To be honest with you, it wasn’t difficult for me at all.” “It was a piece of cake for me.”

Upon being asked to name the worst job he’s ever had, Mr. Asghari, who stated his prior acting experience includes a stint at Best Buy as well as rolling sushi for quinceaneras, responded that each job was as joyful as the last because “I find happiness in every job.”

Upon being asked to rate his professional efforts in order of importance, Mr. Asghari responded that he emphasizes everything in life equally, even while taking a step back from it, as he has done with his professional career as a personal trainer. Upon being asked which of his three elder sisters he is the closest to, Mr. Asghari responded, “I’m the closest to all of them.”

And when questioned directly, “What do you do for a living?” Without hesitating, Mr. Asghari responded, “I’m a plumbing contractor.”

Mr. Asghari possesses a true sense of deadpan humor, which he displayed only on rare occasions. He achieves this through his chiseled facial features, which do not instantly suggest comedy; his shatterproof seriousness, which makes it impossible to predict his jokes; and the fact that everything he says is delivered in the same serene tone.

Mr. Asghari is not a nasty person, despite the fact that deadpan comedy may sometimes be used to leave a straight man writhing in the wind. His sarcastic remarks were swiftly and invariably followed by sincere responses from the other side.

“At the moment, my role is that of an actor,” he added.

“Sexy Santa,” a character credited as “Sexy Santa” in an episode of the HBO Max series “Hacks,” was one of Mr. Asghari’s most extensively viewed — yet blink and you’ll miss it — career performances. He only featured in a single scene, in which he was paired with Jean Smart.
